The Association of Salamancan Automobile and Workshop Entrepreneurs (AESAT by its Spanish acronym), a member of CONFAES, has renewed its agreement with Environmental Management and Protection (GPA, by its Spanish acronym), a subsidiary of Sertego, for the management and treatment of all its industrial waste during 2018, including used motor oil.

This commitment formalized last May allows AESAT to guarantee its partners that industrial waste will be managed by a company specialized in their treatment, as GPA is, which ensures the compliance with the environmental regulations and has been carrying out this work for the association for 18 years.
The President of AESAT, Sergio Pérez and the Delegate of Sertego in Castile and Leon, Raúl Sanz de Acedo, were present for the signing.

The agreement reached was presented by AESAT to its business partners at an informative conference held last June under the title ‘Waste management in automobile repair shops’. The commitment signed with the subsidiary of Sertego will provide the members during 2018 the necessary conditions for the storage of waste in their facilities, which will then be collected in an appropriate manner by the company GPA, in order to manage them in accordance with the environmental regulations in force.
Sertego develops its industrial waste management activity in Castile and Leon through its subsidiary GPA. This facility also has an industrial packaging treatment plant.
The Delegate of Sertego in Castile and Leon, Raúl Sanz de Acedo, also participated in the seminar explaining the latest regulatory changes in waste management, mainly the regulations on waste shipment and resolving the most relevant issues raised by the sector.
